Schedule: Half-hour and one-hour private singing and speech lessons are available Wednesday through Sunday (Wednesday 3pm-6pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday 10am-5pm).

Rates: Current rates are $180 per hour or $90 per half-hour for private lessons.

Cancellation Policy: Your lesson time is reserved for you and others will be turned away for that time so please schedule carefully.  Be advised that there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you must cancel for any reason within 24 hours of your lesson time, you will be responsible for the full fee.

The Voiceworks Studio is located in Sherman Oaks, California, 25 minutes north of the Los Angeles International Airport, 20 minutes from the Burbank Airport and just north of Beverly Hills, Hollywood and the Westside.

All levels of experience and singers as young as 6 years old are welcome. Audition is not required and all lessons are paid for at the time of service. To record your lesson, you may bring your choice of a hard-disk recorder with microphone like smartphone or other digital hand recorder, or your laptop with GarageBand or Photobooth.

The Voiceworks Studio includes a digital recording studio, transposing keyboard and a performance area with stage, lights, sound system and video. In addition, Lisa is a sight-reading accompanist if you choose to bring your own sheet music. Students should feel free to bring karaoke CDs as accompaniment and recording artists are encouraged to bring tracks from current CD projects.

Singers on tour or outside the LA area may receive voice-lessons via  Skype.  To arrange vocal instruction by Skype, see the Lessons via Skype page.
